The Directors of Avalias – Ranbir Singh and Jatinder Ahluwalia ‘s journey as a perfumer and sequential business visionary to comprehend the new world as well as broad interest and examination in fragrance customisation began a few years back. Our thought behind creating homegrown fragrance was to give the people of our country a niche and long lasting fragrance, for which people have been thriving so long. Our vision was to create a fragrance that is premium in quality, sustainable and at par with the international perfume brands.
Understanding the Indian climate, emotions and mood of people, we, at first, had to understand the fundamentals of perfumes, their families and classifications. For this, we did various courses in perfumery. In addition to this, we had to ensure that our production processes have a minimal impact on the environment. We always chose to use ingredients that are naturally sourced and skin friendly, and pleasing to the nose. Born on the land of diverse flora and fauna, people already know the concept of extracting aromas. Keeping the Indian rituals alive, we have primarily used scents that are linked with Gods like Jasmine, rose, lavender etc. The fascinating thing about our perfumes is that they are chemical free and make a deep connection of the modern with the old world keeping the art of perfumes alive.
