About Trina Kanungo
Trina Kanungo, is a post graduate in Mathematics and Computing from IIT-ISM Dhanbad. Currently posted as Assistant Manager, in ECGC Ltd , Mumbai, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government Of India, Trina is an ardent lover of Indian Fine Arts and Literature. She has co-authored 20+ poem anthologies in English and Bengali Literature.
Being a small town girl , (hailing from Hindmotor , Hooghly district , West Bengal), she has always learnt to optimize her necessities in life . She has always led superbly simplified life, devoid of any luxuries. Her father is a retired banker and her mother is a home maker. Her mother was a gymnastic enthusiast, and her sole inspiration in pursuing Yoga on a serious note. She has received an Honorary Doctorate from Grace Ladies Global Academy in “Peace and Meditation” in the year 2022, 9th of July. Tagore and Dr. Kalam are the two sole inspiring figures in her life.
She has started writing from a very tender age, since she was in school, but her articles were all collected in a notebook, all unpublished. As she got shifted to Mumbai for her posting in the year 2017, she took refuge to her writing knack, on a regular basis. Through this habit she was able to cope with the fast life of the cosmopolitan metro city. She is yet to have a solo book, but she loves to explore the unexplored eden of poesy, and hover through the wide ocean of Literature , using her creativity and romanticism. Tagore and Dr. Kalam are the two sole inspiring figures in her life.
